POINT OF SALE

Strong, modular point of sale counters created for Stone Quarry Café

Using the T3Frame modular display system, TecnaUK helps Stone Quarry to display and sell more with easy to build and reconfigurable point of sale counters.

BRIEF

Stone Quarry had recently set up their Quarry Café and as it grew in popularity it was quickly established that they required more space to display their assortment of cakes as well as have a dedicated counter for their till.

The weight of the cakes and till were a serious concern for the team at Stone Quarry, and due to the limited space that they have in their community room, a full and permanent table structure was not possible. The desired structure needed to be quick to build, easy to pack away after each day, reconfigurable and reclad for different applications.

OUTCOME

The design that the team at Tecna UK came up with ticked all the boxes for the Stone Quarry crew consisted of two modular counters.

The first counter which would be the platform to display the cakes and other good was a 2-metre x 2-metre x 1 metre L shaped design. The second counter which would act as the cashier counter was a 1-metre x 0.8-metre x 1.2 metres stepped counter. Each counter was finished with fabric graphics and wooden tops.

The strong aluminium profiles provided the perfect weight-bearing solution for Stone Quarry, and the lightweight modular design of the counters meant that at the end of the day the counters are quick and easy to pack down and store. Making the designs the most efficient and functional solution to the Stone Quarry requirements.

INSTALLATION

The installation was completed by a single person in under an hour without the use of tools or levers. This efficiency of assembly and install could be replicated by Stone Quarry on a daily basis.
