EXHIBITION

Wenglor booth

The brief for the project was that Wenglor wanted Best Displays and Graphics (BDG) to help design and manufacture an exhibition display for the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS), held in the International Centre Mississauga.

Wenglor have attended the show previously to exhibit their innovations within the field of non-contact sensors. Best Displays created Wenglor’s previous exhibition stand which was a massive success. So of course, Wenglor returned to BDG for CMTS 2017, which is a testament to the work that BDG does.

The display that was created consisted of a 6.1m x 9.1 m peninsula booth that backed onto another booth behind. Wenglor had a variety of new innovations to showcase

Corey Deeth from BDG had this to say, “We went with a more customised solution for the client’s display. Their products are the latest in high end innovation and technology, so we wanted to make sure that the exhibition display portrayed that to the public.”

Included in the design were a number of outward facing corner pieces where Wenglor’s product were displayed. These custom wooden pieces were complimented by the large overhead graphics and storage room towards the back of the stand, these were all created using T3 Frame. The large textile graphics were used for the upper panels of the stand with the Silverlite 45° extrusions used to create seamless edges.

Corey Deeth continued, “The outward corner pieces drew in passers-by, who could then be invited into the spacious ventral area for more intimate conversations. It was a clever use of spaces and a great design aspect. “
